ALEEM HOSSAIN is a writer and director living in Los Angeles.  He earned a Humanities B.A. at the University of Chicago and a film directing M.F.A. at UCLA.  His father is an architect from Bangladesh and his mother is an American college professor of Irish, Italian, and Spanish descent.  In other words, Aleem makes movies that combine a lot of different traditions.  While at UCLA, he won Most Original Film of the Year for writing and directing PINKERTON, an official selection of the Comic-Con International Film Festival and the Los Angeles Shortsfest.  Aleem recently finished shooting the pilot episode of IT ENDS TODAY, a sci-fi drama web series.
