In Cuba, 1988, Wilma has a miscarriage while competing in a skeet shooting competition, which she was hiding from her disapproving husband. While grieving the loss of their child and feeling trapped on their farm, a tornado carries Wilma away and she lands in a luxurious tourist area. It is this life threatening experience and time away from her husband where she learns that there’s no place like home.

A novel Cuban film director and playwright. At the age of 17 he directed Fractal, a 60 minutes documentary awarded in the 5th Muestra Joven, Cuba. He recently completed the short film (Official Competition in FICG32, Mexico).

Maria Carla is a Cuban film producer. She studied at the EICTV and is co-manager of Nuevas Miradas EICTV Workshop for Films in Development. She has produced films from very well known Cuban filmmakers. The most recent one is the documentary Between The Lines.
