About

Nick Barton has been a Producer since 1970, originally producing advertising commercials. He moved into Television in 1981 producing series such as “The World A Television History” and “Spaceship Earth”. In 1989 he and Linda Agran formed AGRAN BARTON TV (ABTV) whose credits include “Moving Story” (ITV) “Boswell & Johnson” (BBC) “The Wimbledon Poisoner” (BBC) “The 7 Wonders of the World” (C4) and “Great Excavations” a major 6-part documentary for C4. Harbour Pictures was created in 1999 as the film production subsidiary of ABTV. Having secured a first-look deal with Buena Vista International, Nick produced his first feature film ‘CALENDAR GIRLS’ the no 1 UK Box office hit in 2002/3. He subsequently produced ‘KINKY BOOTS’ for Miramax Films. Nick currently has films in development for Pathe, BBC Films, ICON, Brilliant Films and South Pacific Pictures. HARBOUR PICTURES TV has television deals with Portman and 2Entertain and projects in development with the BBC.
