About

After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Matias Mariani worked extensively as a producer in films such as (Cannes Critics Week), Drained (Sundance), (Cannes Un Certain Regard). Shortly thereafter, he began his directing career with She Dreamed That I Died, which won Best Directing at the Paulínia International Film Festival & Viña Del Mar International Film Festival. In 2014 Matias released the feature I Touched All Your Stuff, which had its world premiere at FID Marseille and won Best Editing at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, as well as being released theatrically both in Brazil and the US.

Currently Matias is writing the feature Pendular (to be directed by Julia Murat, who’s Found Memories won Best Film at Abu Dhabi International Film Festival), as well as his fictional debuts Shine Your Eyes, recently part of Cine Qua Non Lab, and Cora, recently granted the TFI Latin American Fund.
