About

"Born and raised in Hong Kong, Emily Wang studied computational biology in Keio University, Japan before going on to work on her Masters Degree in Communications Management at the University of Southern California. Through a joint program from the USC School of Cinema-Television and the Marshall School of Business, she had also received the Certificate in the Business of Entertainment.

While in Japan, she worked on various non-profit projects producing shorts, one of which was for a collaborative children’s media event in part funded by the Ministry of Education in Japan. At USC, she interned for National Geographic Kids Programming and Productions, as well as the Media Arts department in Washington DC, helping coordinate the All Roads Film Festival. Most recently, she also worked for Academy Award winning team Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman on the feature length documentary Nanking."
